Q: nyc gig?

A: Hi there. Sorry for my delay as I've been out on tour playing with Craig Finn of The Hold Steady for a couple of months. No tour dates planned at this point. We may start working on a new record this month. We'll see what happens. I'd love to get back up there, but it's so damn expensive to tour these days. We'll see what happens.

A: Hey, sorry for my delay, haven't checked this in a bit. Not sure on that one. I'm playing guitar for Craig Finn of The Hold Steady on his solo tour, so I'll be up there in January with that. A: Howdy, yeah we're trying to get something on the 21st. It's tough because being cmj and all, everything is booked. We're looking at some other towns.

Q: ....is this the case? i'm a stay at home dad living in north jersey so i really can only make time for the the saint show and bowery. any suggestions on how to get a ticket for nyc show? thanks

A: If it's like South by Southwest here in Austin, there is an option to pay a cover to get in, but people with passes get 1st dibs. I'm sure we could swing something. I'll look into it for you.

Q: by the way. the bowery is a great venue. elevated stage with a great sound.

A: Cool, we are in the Bowery Poetry room, which is smaller but still supposed to be a nice room. We go on at 11pm on the 22nd.

the show on the 19 oct is still not on the saints website however they list a show on 16 oct with cmj artist from austin with special guest. ??

A: Howdy, we're for sure the 19th. I just confirmed with our booking agent. I'll get her to push them to get it up on their site.

A: Yes. It was just confirmed. Sometimes places are a little slow on the draw on updating.

A: Hi. Not exactly sure yet. I heard some utterance of Bowery, a small room there, but not sure yet. I'll post all the info on website as soon as we get it. We'll be posting up a live record for folks on the mailing list very soon. I finished mixing it last night.

Q: any ny / nj tour dates yet

A: Yes, the CMJ showcase in NYC is on 10/22. Not exactly sure of venue yet. Looks like The Saint in Asbury Park is 10/19. May do a Philly date and trying some places in New Brunswick I believe. More to come. Sorry to be so wishy washy, but we just found out when the CMJ date is, and everything had to wait on knowing that date in order to book around it. Hope you can make it out to one of these!
